Hi Everyone,

I’ve had a request from my followers on TikTok about how to get a lymph press machine approved through insurance. I realized I hadn’t written about that yet, so I’ll tell you how I went through the process.

First, you’ll need to receive active lymph management from a therapist

When I was diagnosed last year, I started working towards my three months of documented conservative therapy for surgery.

I looked around for a physical therapist who did lymphatic drainage. I didn’t have to look far! The hospital where I work has outpatient physical therapy. One of the PTs I work with is certified in lymph drainage.

My PCP has been an advocate for me, so when I asked him if he could prescribe physical therapy, he was more than happy to do so.
