I would encourage everyone missing dessert to look into raw vegan desserts! When I had the time to eat 50-75% raw, I was literally eating ice cream every night and I lost weight. Also, the portion of raw vegan chocolate cake that will make you full after dinner compared to a "regular" sized piece of cake is teensy, and it's mostly raw nuts.
Did you know you can make chocolate pudding out of an avocado???
Tonight I am having a fruit parfait for dinner. That's the fun thing about raw vegan ... it's nutritious, so you can eat dessert for dinner!
You need a Ninja or a Vitamix to make this whipped cream. 1 1/2 cups of truly raw cashews (available online or in some health food stores), 1/3 cup of freshly squeezed orange juice, 2 or 3 pitted dates.
Soak the nuts in filtered water for four hours. Put all ingredients in the blender and blend into a whipped cream consistency.
I have put fresh local blueberries at the bottom of mine, then a layer of whipped cream, strawberries, cream, sliced apples, cream, sliced oranges, cream, strawberries again, and a dollop of cream with two blueberries on top.
Other fruit such as kiwi also works. Would be good with peaches as well.

that's great advice! A friend of mine makes creamy desserts with avocado and they're really good! Do you have a recipe you can share?
