Happy Sunday, Everyone!
When I started my Sunday Poll and Scroll many weeks ago, I found some interesting information that helps you and me to get what you need from this newsletter and what I should help provide for you while reaching my goals.
My primary goal is to be your advocate, to help guide you in treatment, and to assist you with your preauthorization for surgery.
With that, here’s a couple of poll results:
Conservative care:
32% of you are receiving conservative care through a provider.
32% are doing conservative care on your own.
32% are not doing any conservative care.
30% of you want to learn how to manage Lipedema without surgery.
Liposuction surgery:
41% of you are in the process of getting surgery.
32% want surgery but haven’t started yet.
28% either don’t know or don’t want surgery.
38% of you have not yet had a surgical consult.
50% of you want to learn how insurance covers surgery.
This information is extremely helpful as it lets me pinpoint my writing and the workshops I am working on.
At the beginning of the month, I was virtually hosted by Debrena Jean in what she called “The Quick and Dirty Preauth Workshop.” It was a hit! I gave a ton of information on the preauthorization process, and afterward, we had a great question-and-answer session. Since it was my first workshop, the cost was $10, with a small group of six people. I loved giving this information to others, and I want to do more!
Right now, I have a virtual diagnosis workshop ready to go. I’m also prepared to upgrade my Quick and Dirty Preauth workshop and offer this to you.
So, my polls this week have a specific goal in mind:
I can start offering these workshops within the next month, so give me the input, and I’ll start scheduling the workshops and let you know in this newsletter.
In the meantime, I have a lofty goal of getting 1,000 paid subscribers! Maybe it’s not that lofty, considering that Lipedema affects 10-17 million women in the U.S. alone. I want to reach all those women, but it’s only me out here! I need you to please help me.
One thousand PAID Subscribers would make it easier for me to keep doing this work. I will give back to all of my subscribers when they subscribe. So, here’s my proposal:
Starting right now, if you subscribe to the annual plan, you can schedule a complimentary initial consult with me. Once you subscribe, you’ll receive an email with my calendar link.
Have you already subscribed to my annual plan and still want to receive this gift? No problem! Please email me at getyourlipedemaapproved@gmail.com and let me know. I’ll send you the link.
My plan is to make my services more available to you. With my upcoming workshops and individual services, I hope to provide you with important Lipedema information so we can advocate for ourselves and demand decent and affordable care from the medical and insurance industries and more access to the services we desperately need.
It’s a long road, but I’m here to walk down that path with you.
