I’ve struggled to lose weight since I was teen. I’m not longer dieting for weight loss. I did manage to lose a lot of weight a few years ago but it resulted in a resurgence of my eating disorder so I stopped and gained it all back. It was also very restrictive and as much as I wanted the weight loss to be permanent I knew it wouldn’t be because would could eat like that forever. What I did gain from it was that I’m highly sensitive to refined foods. They make me ache badly.

Thank you for commenting, Yanna. idk if you have Lipedema; you didn't say. However, most lipedema women have disordered eating (from the medical industry, diet industry, and society in general, telling us to lose weight and exercise). We also have food sensitivities and must curb our nutrition choices. Refined foods are very inflammatory and don't work with our bodies. I bloat severely with any yeasty bread and pasta. I get lymphatic swelling with carbs and sugar. It's all part of this disease, and we learn how to work to keep ourselves as healthy as possible.
